To be perfectly honest, I’m not a fan of David Guetta, and I haven’t willingly listened to Usher since 2004. Keeping the aforementioned in mind, you can imagine my distaste for “Without You.” Fortunately, Mister Black and Nemo teamed up to create a complete dubstep rework of the track. Not only did they make “Without You” listenable, but they also managed to make it very enjoyable with sweet builds and massive drops. Check it out below and let me know what you think.

“Welcome Back” was the first single off Mase’s third album, Welcome Back. Released after his five-year break from music, “Welcome Back” showcased Mase’s new wholesome image. Fans and critics’ reaction was lukewarm to this change, and it peaked at number 17 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop chart in 2004. Although “Welcome Back” never reached the same levels of success as his previous singles, it’s the perfect song to celebrate the return of Throwback Thursdays. (via)

His extensive resume includes opening for LMFAO, Pretty Lights, Hot Pink Delorean, Excision, 12th Planet, Gigamesh, Danny Diggz, and DJ Diverse, to name a few. He also founded 515 Entertainment Group, which specializes in event services and music promotions. Aldridge currently hosts and serves as resident DJ at Des Moines’ Sub Sonic Social and holds residency at Lime Lounge.

Iowa City veteran David Tuttle (aka DJ Tutt) began his DJ career while in college, spinning at local bars, clubs, and parties. He quickly made a name for himself and earned a DJ residency at Gabe’s with reoccurring gigs at Yacht Club. His skills have brought him to Chicago where he’s played at the Red Line Tap, Generation Night Club, The Elbo Room, and The House Cafe in DeKalb. Flo Rida’s “Good Feeling,” although heavily inspired by my favorite Avicii track, “Levels,” isn’t doing it for me. I don’t know what it is, but it just lacks something. Enter DJ Nemo. Based on Mister Black’s “Levels” dubstep remix, Nemo managed to turn “Good Feeling” into a bangin’ club tune that I can’t get enough of.
