We've done what many said was impossible. Since our inception in 2010 we have been fortunate enough to bring some of the hottest acts to Iowa City. Every show has brought an unprecidented level of energy and excitement that we hope to build on for years to come.

Live Weekend was able to bring a live major-record label entertainment experience to Dance Marathon that was never done before. The band came to Iowa City, with about 10 fans and left with 5,000. Kids were screaming at the top of their lungs, the crowd got on stage and rocked out with the band - students and an occassional Herky were seen crowd surfing. It was an experience many could not forget.
Mike Posner ft Heatbox

Mike Posner rocked out a sold-out show that lasted in the minds of attendees all summer. The show was such a hit that footage from it landed in Mike Posner's summer smash "Cooler Than Me" music video. Saying "It's all about timing" was the overlying theme of this show. The radio station's didn't have his records and only a small fraction of the community knew his music. A week before the show it was the hardest ticket in the state to find. Thank you Posner.
Wiz Khalifa ft Yelawolf

Dubbed the hottest young MC by MTV, Wiz Khalifa came to Iowa City to a show that was sold out a month before he even set foot in the state. The Waken Baken Tour made a stop in Iowa City featuring Pittsburg's DJ Bonics, Alabama rapper, Yelawolf, and viral sensation Wiz Khalifa. Easily, this was the hottest selling ticket in the state of Iowa, The Union was rocked to say the least.
